Earnest Gene "Bo" Hayes was born on October 1, 1959 in Austell, Georgia tos the late Earnest Gene Hayes and Annie Clyde Hayes. He peacefully departed this earthly life on Wednesday, August 18, 2021.
Bo joined New Hope Missionary Baptist Church at an early age under the leadership of Reverend J.C. Carter, Sr. He later moved his membership to New Unity Christian Fellowship Church under the leadership of Pastor Clifford McGrady.
Bo was educated in the Cobb County School System where he graduated from John McEachern High School. Bo was employed at Wellstar Hospital for 41 years, and was preparing to retire at the end of 2021.
Bo loved many things in life and had a great passion for his family, sports, cooking, gardening and working.
After dating Patricia Brown for 12 years, Bo and Pat were married on September 26, 1992. They have been inseparable for 40 years. To this union; a son, Quentin, was born. Bo was a devoted husband, and father.
Bo leaves to cherish his precious memories his loving, devoted wife and best friend, Pat Brown-Hayes; son, Quentin Hayes; brother, Keith (Vivian) Hayes; sister, Kathyann Hayes; uncles: James (Ruthie) Clonts and Jimmy (Judy) Clonts. Six aunts: Juanita Hayes, Helen Gilbert, Hattiemae Philpot, Johnniemae Hayes, Maggiemae Hayes and Brenda Hayes. A special cousin, Velma Few, his sweet mother-in-law Mary Brown, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
The Funeral Home will welcome guest for a public viewing/ visitation on Friday, August 27, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 7:00PM at Greener Pastures Funeral Home, 4405 Marietta St. Powder Springs, GA 30127.
The Funeral Service will follow the next day on Saturday August 28, 2021 beginning at 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church, 4330 North Ave, Powder Springs, GA 30127.

The Interment will follow immediately after the Funeral Service on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at Southern Cremations Cemetery, 1861 Dallas Hwy, Marietta, GA 30064.
