With profound sorrow and heartfelt reverence, we announce the passing of Akylah Sharrai Young, a radiant soul whose brief yet impactful presence graced this world from September 6, 1996, until her departure on April 22, 2026. 

In loving memory of Akylah, family and friends are invited to gather in somber reflection and celebration of her life. A visitation will be held on the evening of May 8, 2026, from 6:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Greener Pastures Funeral Home, located at 4405 Marietta Street, Powder Springs, Georgia. This solemn occasion will offer a sacred moment for remembrance and solace amidst shared grief.

Subsequently, on the morning of May 9, 2026, at 11:00 AM, a Celebration of Life service will take place at New Hope Baptist Church, 4192 Brownsville Road, Powder Springs, Georgia. There, assembled mourners will honor Akylah’s legacy, embracing togetherness in the face of loss, and acknowledging the profound impact she had on all who cherished her.
