Those who were privileged to know Akylah witnessed a remarkable individual whose very being illuminated the lives of others, leaving indelible imprints upon their hearts.
In loving memory of Akylah, family and friends are invited to gather in somber reflection and celebration of her life. A visitation will be held on the evening of May 8, 2026, from 6:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Greener Pastures Funeral Home, located at 4405 Marietta Street, Powder Springs, Georgia. This solemn occasion will offer a sacred moment for remembrance and solace amidst shared grief.
Subsequently, on the morning of May 9, 2026, at 11:00 AM, a Celebration of Life service will take place at New Hope Baptist Church, 4192 Brownsville Road, Powder Springs, Georgia. There, assembled mourners will honor Akylah’s legacy, embracing togetherness in the face of loss, and acknowledging the profound impact she had on all who cherished her.
Though the particulars of her family and cherished companions remain precious and private, the void left by Akylah’s passing resonates deeply within the community she touched.
