Arick Cornelius Banks, 33, of Marietta, GA passed away suddenly on January 9th 2020. His family is shocked and deeply saddened by his loss.

Arick was born on October 14th, 1986 to Joyce Corley and Larry Banks in Augusta, GA. He was educated in Cobb County Public School System attending Wheeler High and  Marietta High. Arick decided he wanted to pursue multiple endeavors, holding multiple jobs throughout his lifetime.

He was an immensely bright and loving individual who did his best to help others throughout his life. He had a million dollar smile, smooth dance moves, was good with his hands, and hardworking. Anyone who knew Arick knew that he was a special soul. He had an immense passion for life and was always a positive source in whatever group he was in. His family and friends will miss him more than words can say.

Arick was a force of nature, determined to provide for his family and give them the life he felt they deserved. His family and children meant more to him than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned. Anyone who knew Arick knew that he was the most loving father, son, brother, cousin, nephew, and friend a family could ask for.

Arick was predeceased by his father Larry Banks.  He is survived by his mother Joyce Corley, his step father Thomas Corley, Two grandmothers, Georgia Murphy and Maude King, his siblings, Larry Dewayne Banks, Paige Simpson(Anthony), Cherelle Banks, Bart Banks, Eilliot Banks, Aric Wooten, Nicholas Corley, Chris Corley, Brandon Corley, Marcus Corley. He is also survived by his kids Erica Thomas, Laniah Banks, Adam Banks, and Lakelin Boyer. Lastly, he is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, aunts , uncles, cousins, and friends.

The family will welcome guest for the viewing on Saturday, January 18, 2020 for 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Greener Pastures Funeral Home, 4405 Marietta St., Powder Springs, GA 30127. The funeral service will be held Saturday,January 18, 2020 for 3:00 PM at Greener Pastures Funeral Home, 4405 Marietta St., Powder Springs, GA 30127.
