Carlton Robinson 72, of Austell, Georgia was born November 27, 1947 in Greensboro,AL to his parents Johnny W. and Sadie Mae Robinson. Mr. Robinson received his crown on December 20, 2019.
The memorial service will be held Tuesday, December 31, 2019 for 2:00 PM at Greener Pastures Funeral Home, 4405 Marietta St., Powder Springs, GA 30127.

Carlton "Pank" Robinson was born November 27, 1947 in Greensboro, Alabama to the late Johnny and Sadie Mae Robinson. Carlton departed this life on December 20, 2019. Carlton was educated in the public schools of Greensboro, AL. He graduated from Hale county public school. Carlton moved to Flint, Michigan in 1970 where he was hired at General Motors Fisher Body Plant. In 1994 he retired from Buick City. Carlton was married to Lillian in 1974. The two were wed for 28 years. Carlton enjoyed taking family photos, landscaping, fishing, remodeling and working with his hands. Carlton was preceded in death by his parents, sisters; Rosie Lee Small and Gloria Gean Robinson and his brother Alfonso Robinson. Carlton leaves behind his 3 children; Carlton, Jr., and LaTrise Ann Robinson both of Flint, MI and Theodora Yvonne Ruffin of Norfolk, VA; 5 brothers; Johnny (Eugene) Robinson of Austell, GA, Larry(Joann) Robinson of Cartersville, GA, Jerry(Felita) Robinson of Stockbridge, GA, Quinton (Rosemary)Robinson of Madison, AL; 4 sisters; Johnnie Mae Leonard of Frankfort, Kentucky, Ruth(Robert)Wiley of Bear, DL, Katie Devero of Oxford, AL, Faye(Milton)Davis of Eutaw, AL; Sister in law; Marsha Robinson and brother in law; Clevelle Small; Aunt Mary William and Uncle Clarence (Geneva) Robinson of Greensboro, AL. 8 grandchildren; Madeeya Webster, Malcolm Daniels, Essence Richardson, Kamrein Robinson, Trevionne Robinson, Tyler Robinson, Noah Robinson and Mariah Robinson; 3 great grandchildren; Kameron Webster, Isabella Davis, and Kashton Robinson and a host of cousins, nephews, relatives, friends and The Chaney Family who he loved dearly.
