Charlene Lester, of Mableton Georgia, was born on October 25, 1945, to her parents, Melton Slaughter and Essie Ruth Glover. Mrs. Lester departed from this life to the next on January 22, 2026.

The Public Visitation will be held on Friday, January 30, 2026, from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM,

at Greener Pastures Funeral Home, 4405 Marietta Street, Powder Springs, Georgia 30127.

The Funeral Service will be the day after the visitation on Saturday, January 31, 2026,

at 11:00 AM at Faith Christian Center, 3831 Tramore Pointe Pkwy, Austell, GA 30106.
