Destinee Renee
Young
Jul 24, 1994 — Jul 31, 2026
Destinee Renee Young, affectionately known and deeply loved by her family and friends, was born on July 24, 1994, in Albany, Georgia, to Monica Young and Roderick Brown. On July 31, 2026, Destinee entered eternal rest in Austell, Georgia, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, joy, and unforgettable memories.
At an early age, Destinee accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and was baptized at New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church in Albany, Georgia. Her faith was an important part of her life and remained a source of strength and hope throughout her journey.
Destinee was a proud graduate of Lee County High School, Class of 2012. She continued her education at Chattahoochee Technical College, where she studied medical billing and coding. She was also an entrepreneur and the proud owner of BeautybyDe, a business that reflected her creativity, ambition, passion, and desire to build something meaningful of her own.
One of Destinee’s greatest loves was children. She had a special gift for caring for them and was affectionately known as the “Baby Whisperer.” Her patience, nurturing spirit, and genuine love made children feel safe, comfortable, and deeply cared for. Destinee worked as a nanny, and caring for and working with children was more than a job—it was her true calling. She gave her time, love, and attention freely, leaving a lasting impact on the children and families whose lives she touched.
Destinee’s love extended beyond people to the fur babies she cherished. She was lovingly reunited with her beloved fur companions, Ladii and Coolie, who preceded her in death. She leaves behind her cherished fur babies, Sage and Tru, who brought her comfort, companionship, and unconditional love.
Destinee was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, LueDella Lavant and Arthur Young.
She leaves to cherish her precious memory her parents, Monica Young and Roderick Brown; her sister, Desiree Young of Hiram, Georgia; her sisters, Emerald Brown and Keydreonna Keaton of Pelham, Georgia; her paternal grandmother, Alice Stewart of Pelham, Georgia; her godmother, Kawana Pettit of Powder Springs, Georgia; her nephews, Jase and Crimson; her bonus baby, Aspen Lewis; her special friend, Germaine Croft; and his children, Geneyah and Genayah Croft.
She is also survived by her uncles and aunts, including Jonah (Angela) Lavant of South Fulton, Georgia; Arthur “Al” (Michelle) Young of Ellaville, Georgia; Eric (Daffeny) Young; and Pamela (Willie) Bennett, along with a host of great-aunts, great-uncles, cousins, extended family members, and loved ones.
