Doris Ruth Johnson, of Powder Springs Georgia, was born on August 4, 1929, to her parents, A.C. Jemison and Mamie Griffin.

Ms. Johnson departed from this life to the next on December 12, 2025.

The Public Visitation will be held on Friday, December 26, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM,

at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. 566 Whitlock Ave NW, Marietta, GA 30064.

The Funeral Service will be held the day after the visitation on Saturday, December 27, 2025,

at 1:00 PM at Mt Ararat Baptist Church Baptist church, 120 N Division St, Selma, AL 36703.
