Hugh Mumpfield, Sr. 92, of Douglasville, Georgia was born January 6, 1925 in Montgomery, Alabama to his late parents Yancey Mumpfield, Sr. and Mary Mumpfield. Viewing for Mr. Hugh Mumpfield will take place Tuesday August 8, 2017 in the funeral homes chapel, 4405 Marietta Street, Powder Springs, GA 30127 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM also in the funeral homes chapel. Following the funeral service, Mr. Hugh Mumpfield will be laid to rest at Georgia National Cemetery, 1080 Veterans Cemetery Road, Canton, GA 30114. The family repast will follow the burial in the Greener Pastures Banquet Hall.
