James Arthur Miller Jr. was born August, 30 1957 in Albany, Georgia to (The Late ) James Arthur Miller Sr. and (The Late) Annie Gilbert* Miller.

James was affectionately known to his close family as "Junior." He was educated in the Dougherty county  public school system in Albany, Georgia

Aside from his family, James's greatest devotion was to the military. He enlisted into the United States Army where he served 3 years and then enlisted into the US Navy where he earned the title of RM1. James impacted many lives by mentoring young enlistees at the start of their military careers by guiding and coaching them. James was a loving Son, Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, Cousin, and Friend. He was a warm, kind and easy going person, and would go above and beyond for his family. He enjoyed watching ANY Western series, and The Sci fi channel. He loved Rock and Roll music, and he learned to play the Guitar and Drums in his early childhood.
