With hearts heavy with sorrow, yet full of gratitude for the life that was shared with us, we announce the passing of Kareem Gershom Joseph on August 15, 2026, at Piedmont Cartersville Hospital. Kareem was born on September 17, 1989, and in his thirty-six years brought kindness, warmth, and a quiet strength to all who were fortunate enough to know him.

Though it is difficult to find words that encapsulate the depth of Kareem’s spirit, those who crossed his path knew the gentle generosity of his heart and the steadfastness of his character. He embraced each day with a humility and grace that inspired those around him. His presence was a solace, and his laughter brought light even in the most trying moments.

Kareem lived his life with a quiet dignity. In moments of joy and in times of challenge, he met the world with courage and an unwavering belief in compassion. He cultivated meaningful relationships wherever he went, leaving an imprint of kindness that will endure through those who carry his memory forward.

In remembering Kareem, we honor the love he gave so freely, and the lessons he taught simply by being himself. He will be missed dearly, but his legacy lives on through the lives he touched and the gentle wisdom he shared.

Family, friends, and all whose lives were brightened by Kareem’s presence are invited to join in a visitation on August 29, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Zion Hill Baptist Church, located at 70 Zion Hill Baptist Church, Dallas, GA 30157. This will be followed by a funeral service beginning at 12:00 p.m., also at Zion Hill Baptist Church.

In this time of mourning, may we also celebrate Kareem’s life, holding close the memories of his compassion, his laughter, and the love he gave without measure. Though he is gone from our sight, he will remain forever in our hearts.
