Karen Denise Hoard, 70, of Powder Springs, Georgia was born on October 10, 1954, to parents Louis Drew Fisher and Italian Theresa Thomas-Fisher.

Mrs. Hoard departed from this life to the next on December 2, 2024.

The Public Visitation will be held the day before the service on Friday, December 13, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Greener Pastures Funeral Home, 4405 Marietta St, Powder Springs, GA 30127.

The Funeral Service will be held after the visitation on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at 11:00 AM, at Sweet Home Missionary Baptist Church, located at 280 Oak Street, Hiram, Georgia 30141

At the family's request, those attending the service, we ask that you please wear something purple or a purple ribbon to celebrate the life of 1st Lady-President Karen D Fisher-Hoard.
