Margie Almar Hunt 78, of Powder Springs, Georgia was born on October 16, 1945, to parents Clifford George Elrod and Mary Bell Murdock Elrod in Marietta, Georgia. Margie Hunt departed from this life to the next on December 28, 2023.

Ms. Hunt was a devoted cobb county school bus driver for over 25 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford George Elrod and Mary Bell Murdock Elrod, her sister, Irene Bolin and her brother Clifford "Sonny" Elrod.

She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Payne, her two sisters: Linda Lawson and Cindy Adams, her three grandchildren,

several great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.

The Public Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 4, 2024, from 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM at

Greener Pastures Funeral Home, located at 4405 Marrietta St, Powder Springs, Georgia 30127

The Funeral Service will be held the next day, Friday, January 5, 2024, at 1:00 PM at

Greener Pastures Funeral Home, located at 4405 Marrietta St, Powder Springs, Georgia 30127.

The Final Resting Place for Ms. Margie Hurt will be at The Powder Springs Memorial Gardens Cemetery,

located at Atlanta Rd, Powder Springs, Georgia30127.
