Mary J. Mathis-Simon, 79, of Marietta, Georgia was born on June 19, 1942 to parents Essie Mae Taylor and Henry James Mathis. On November 22, 2021, the Lord welcomed Mother Mary Mathis-Simon into the kingdom of eternal glory.

The Funeral home will welcome guests for a public visitation on Friday, December 3, 2021 from 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM at Greener Pastures Funeral Home, 4405 Marietta St. Powder Springs, GA 30127.

The Funeral service will take place the following day on Saturday, December 4, 2021 beginning at 11:00 AM at Second St Johns Full Gospel, 7172 N County Line Rd, Lithia Springs, GA 30122.

The Interment will take place immediately after the Funeral service on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at the Sunrise Memorial Gardens, 11261 Veterans Memorial Hwy, Douglasville, GA 30134.
