Minnie Catherine Harrington, born on September 1, 1949, in Langdale, Alabama, passed away peacefully on February 28, 2026. 

Minnie is survived by her daughter, Wendy Harrington, who carries on her legacy of love and resilience. Across her life, Minnie was shaped by the values instilled in her by her parents, Bill Harrington and Genell Dawson, both of whom have preceded her in death.

Throughout her years, Minnie cultivated a deep appreciation for classic films, particularly westerns and old movies, which she enjoyed sharing with those around her. Her love for playing cards, especially the game of spades, brought many joyous moments filled with laughter and camaraderie.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate Minnie’s remarkable life at a memorial service to be held on March 21, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Greener Pastures Funeral Home, located at 4405 Marietta St, Powder Springs, GA 30127.
