Carrie Quiana Henderson, was born October 13, 1982 in Detroit, MI to the late Johnnie Henderson and late Clara Rogers. Carrie's father is a local business owner while her mother was a Supervisor at Daimler-Chrylser. Carrie was the fifth child of Clara Rogers.
Carrie was a beautiful person that had a spirit and smile that would light up a room. She was a multi-talented woman that brought joy to all. She was gifted in fine arts with a soulful voice and vibrant dance moves. Carrie displayed these talents while acting in community plays and serving as a docent at the Detroit Historical Museum. She attended St. Alphonsus High School in Dearborn, MI where she was on the school newspaper and cheer leading squad. She late graduated from Kennesaw High School after the family moved to Georgia in 1999. She went on to attend Kennesaw State University, where she studied Nursing.
Carrie is survived by her sweet son, Camren Dean (Georgia) and her surviving family. Her sisters, Christal Robinson (William) Illinois, Cheryl Rogers, Georgia; and her brothers Charles Rogers, Illinois, and Christopher Rogers (Charlene), Illinois; and her niece Candace Rogers, Georgia; and a host of beloved relatives and friends.
The memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2020 for 10:00 AM at Greener Pastures Funeral Home, 4405 Marietta St. Powder Springs, GA 30127.
