Christie Emerlie Sylvestre

Christie Emerlie Sylvestre, 34 years of age, went on to glory on Monday, June 8, 2020 at Wellstar Cobb Hospital. Christie was born September 15, 1985 in Bexon, St. Lucia to Elford Jones and Frances Sylvestre. She was the second oldest of five children, Christie graduated from the St. Croix Central high school in 2006.

Christie liked to play hairdresser with her baby dolls and comb her sister's hair. She enjoyed cuddling with dolls and family members, playing with her piano keyboard, and listening to upbeat music. Christie would enjoy mischievously teasing her nieces and nephews. She looked forward to getting dressed up and getting her hair fixed just right with bows and accessories. She could often be found brushing her own hair. One of her all-time favorite activities were long drives in the car and being with family.  

Christie leaves to cherish her loving memory, her mother Frances Sylvestre, sisters Kimberly, Annela, and Lindy. 3 nieces , 3 nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins too numerous to mention. Christie was preceded in death by her brother Mervin Sylvestre.

The family will welcome guests for the GRAVESIDE viewing/ visitation on Monday, June 15, 2020 for 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM (Noon) at Powder Springs Memorial Gardens, 4157 Atlanta St, Powder Springs, GA 30127

The GRAVESIDE Funeral Service will be held on Monday, June 15, 2020 for 12:00 PM (Noon) at Powder Springs Memorial Gardens, 4157 Atlanta St, Powder Springs, GA 30127. 

The interment will follow immediately after the service on Monday, June 15, 2020 at Powder Springs Memorial Gardens, 4157 Atlanta St, Powder Springs, GA 30127.
