Delores Green

Delores Green was born December 6, 1946 in Cleveland, OH. She was the 2nd of 5 children born to the late Eli Green and Verneta (Prince) Green.  In her home in Powder Springs, GA, surrounded by loved ones, Deloris made a peaceful transition as the Lord received home on June 28, 2020. As a child, Delores grew up in the greater Cleveland and East Cleveland area.  She was educated in the Cleveland Public School System and graduated from John Hay High School. She worked for Kaiser Permanente Hospitals for many years.  She then moved to Georgia where she was a clerical clerk for Dobbin Airforce Base.  In her spare time, Delores enjoyed listening to music and spending time with her grandchildren and great grands. Delores will be remembered for being a loving mother and grandmother. Delores is preceded in death by her parents and  her sister, Darlene.  Delores is survived by her sons; Richard(Tonya), Cortney, Sr.(Kelly,deceased), Jason(Monica) and numerous grandchildren and great grands and a fond friend, Jameca, her caregiver Melissa, three brothers; Eli Jr., Kenneth and Tyrone Green and 2 half brothers, Luther Green of Chicago and Curtis Moore of Cleveland, Ohio along with numerous friends and family.    
 

The memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Greener Pastures Funeral Home, 4405 Marietta St. Powder Springs, GA 30127.
