Dianne Kay Madison-Patterson

On January 5, 2021, Dianne Kay Madison-Patterson, age 58, of Atlanta, Georgia was welcomed into the kingdom of eternal glory.

Dianne was born April 29, 1962 in Lansing, Michigan to Wilma Harper. Dianne was a graduate of, both, Penn State and Capella Universities. In 2000, Dianne began her 18-year career at Ridgeview Institute, where she started as a Clinical Assistant, and eventually worked her way up to becoming a case manager and therapist. She was also a dedicated employee of Tanner and Wellstar Behavioral Health Systems.

Dianne joined in Holy matrimony with Kevin Madison, on December 18, 1981. Although the union was not permanent, they made a strong co-parenting team for their exceptional children, Eddie and Jenelle, in Uniontown, Pennsylvania.  

In 2004, while working at Ridgeview, Dianne met and fell in love with Patrick Patterson. After beginning a lifelong partnership, they eventually married in Marietta, Georgia on April 29th, 2015.

A longtime member of New Beginnings Full Gospel Church of Uniontown, Pennsylvania, Dianne is preceded in death by her mother, Wilma Harper, and brother, Albert Harper.

Dianne leaves behind to cherish her memories: her husband, Patrick Patterson of Atlanta, Georgia; her children Edward (Stephanie) Britten-Harper of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; Jenelle Madison of Austell, Georgia, Dustin (Brooke) Thomas of Jefferson City, Missouri, and Autumn Patterson of Valdosta, Georgia; her brother, Max (Darla) Mason of Point Marion, Pennsylvania; her sister Sherry (Archie) West of Fairchance, Pennsylvania; four grandchildren and a host of loving relatives, friends, and colleagues that she has left a life-long lasting impression.

The family will welcome guests for the Memorial Service on Sunday, January 10, 2021 for 11:00 AM at Greener Pastures Funeral Home, 4405 Marietta St. Powder Springs, GA 30127.

 Due to COVID guidelines and restrictions and to respect the privacy of the family, the memorial service will be invite only.
